“Yeah, Eric! Go out there!” Jess chimed in.

“Nah, I’d probably throw her off,” Eric replied, while blushing.

“Dude, go do it! She’ll love it!” I added.

“Come on, Eric!” Hannah exclaimed, happily.

Eric started looking at the three of us, and I could notice his confidence growing within him.

“Okay, okay. One more beer though!” Eric shouted and hustled over to the bar.

“Hey...at least he’s gonna go out there,” I said to the girls after he walked off.

While sitting at the table, Sydney decided to go check on Taylor who was in her cabin. This would leave Jake and Faith on their own.

“Where ya goin?” Jake asked Sydney.

“I’m gonna go check on Taylor. I’ll be back,” Sydney assured them, then kept walking.

“Well...can I get you another drink?” Jake offered Faith.

“No, but I can get you another drink,” Faith winked and got up.

“Uh…” Jake mumbled to himself while she went to get him one.

Meanwhile, Brandon found himself dipping into the woods just aways, so he could throw up from drinking too much.

“Ah, holy shit!” He exclaimed after throwing up.

“Need some water?” Stephanie asked from behind.

Brandon stood up and turned around to notice her standing there with a glass of water. Brandon appreciated that she offered him some water, but more than anything he wanted to be away from her.

“Thanks, but... I’ll be okay…” Brandon started to stumble off.

“I love you…” Stephanie said to him, before he walked back to the party.

He stopped, frozen and dazed. He turned around, trying to keep himself upright and entirely too drunk to have this type of conversation.

“What?” He asked, confused.

“I said I love you... I’m sorry about yesterday,” Stephanie told him.

“Sorry about what? You didn't smash up my face…” Brandon replied.

“I know that, but I feel responsible for it…” She said.

“I don't care, Stephanie... I don't really need anything from you…” He said with a burp.

“Brandon, I’m standing here trying to tell you that I’m in love with you... I want to be yours,” She told him.

“Stephanie... When, we met each other... I thought you were the last opportunity I had left on this earth... But I realize, the final days of my life aren't about that. It’s about living with the people I care the most about...you are not one of them... I’m sorry,” He said quite bluntly, and drunkenly.

This left Stephanie standing there hopeless and heart broken. She started to whimper but since she had cried so much the past two days, no tears would fall. Instead, she just walked away.

Once Brandon got back to the party, he stopped by my table and leaned over to tell me something.

“I’m fuckin’ layin down. I feel like death,” He said before slapping me on the back.

“Okay, buddy, night!” I said to him, watching him struggle up the steps.

“What he say?” Hannah asked me.

“He isn't feeling well, he’s going to lay down,” I told her, with a chuckle.

Over at the bar, Eric was choking down the rest of his beer as he watched Lindsay dance along with Crump, Kayla, and Lyle.
